Questions we get asked.
Do staff need to install an app?
No. Staff message the ZenLocate WhatsApp number from the phone they already carry and get the answer as a normal chat reply. There is nothing to download, no login and no training day.
What hardware is involved?
Small Bluetooth gateways cover a wing or a floor, tags go on the equipment you want to find, and residents wear a badge or bracelet. The floor plan and zones are set up once, in the background.
Does it track people as well as equipment?
Yes. A resident's badge or bracelet is tracked exactly the way a tagged wheelchair is, so staff can ask where someone is and get the same kind of answer.
Is ZenLocate an RTLS?
Yes. RTLS is short for real-time location system, and that is what ZenLocate is: Bluetooth gateways and tags that report where things are inside a building. Most RTLS asset tracking is used from a dashboard. ZenLocate is used from WhatsApp, so staff get the same answer without logging in to anything.
How does ZenLocate handle wander management?
Residents are on the same system as the equipment. Each resident wears a badge or bracelet that is tracked the same way a tagged wheelchair is. Ask on WhatsApp where someone is and you get the zone the badge was last seen in and how long ago. Coverage follows the gateways, so it works wing by wing or floor by floor.
Who can see the data, and where does it live?
Everything stays private. Asset and location data lives inside your own ZenduONE tenant. Questions and answers travel over WhatsApp's end-to-end encrypted channel. Only phone numbers enrolled on the platform can reach the bot, and anyone else gets nothing. No resident or asset data is shared outside your organisation.
